A Harp can be an oasis. Harps can be like soothing salves in a whirl of stress. Harp music offers a chance to rest - to stop, sit back, relax. Actually, millennia ago the Jewish King Saul, he requested that a 'harp' (a similar, ancient instrument called a lyre) be played in the royal palace. The 'harp' music calmed the ruler's troubled soul. Many years later, that little boy who played the 'harp' became a valiant warrior and ruler of Israel. Now, as king, David's 'harp' helped calm his own soul.

Harp music enriches our minds and soothes our hearts. As a harpist and harp teacher, I hope you experience the joy and enrichment of playing the harp. Here are samples of my harp music recordings. I teach harp to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students of all musical backgrounds and all ages (3 through adult).
